Salomon Gessner letter to Mein Herr, 1772 Feb. 13.

Gessner writes from Zürich to Mein Herr about the French translation of his poems and the care he exhibits for a worthy presentation of his work. He further suggests to add to this edition a translation of a letter on landscape painting. The name of the addressee is not mentioned, but he is probably an artist as one of his pupils who is a painter is mentioned .
